Your first night

Joining a new community can feel like a lot. Here's exactly what happens when you click Join, so there are no surprises. Go at your own pace.

What happens

  1. Click Join

    Use any Join Discord button on this site. Discord is free and works in the app or right in your browser.

  2. Read the rules

    Take two minutes with our community rules. They're short, and they're how we keep this a safe place.

  3. Say hi, or don't

    Introduce yourself in the welcome channel if you'd like. Just reading along is fine too. Nobody will push you to talk.

  4. Find a game

    Check the weekly game nights, or ask in chat who's playing. Jump into a voice channel when you're ready; text-only is fine.

    NMG Board of Directors will be meeting to discuss new events, resources available to help others, and how to grow as a community.

Military?

Ask a moderator in the NMG Discord. They'll walk you through a quick check that you're a veteran, Reservist, National Guard or Active Duty member before giving you access to the Honey Badgers channels.
